Children's Flip Flops Recalled

About 210,000 children's flip flops, made in Brazil by Alpargatas USA Inc., of New York, have been recalled by the CPSC. The reason: decorative paint on the sole of the flip flops can contain high levels of lead, which is toxic if ingested by young children. No incidents or injuries have been reported.

The flip flops were sold between November of 2006 through February of 2009 at different stores, for $15 to $24 a pair.
