The Nursery: For Baby or Parents?

New parents spend anywhere from $5,000 to $15,000 to decorate a baby's nursery, according to the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association, resulting in a $7.3 billion industry. That's a lot of money to spend on a room that the baby can't really enjoy until he's crawling. So, some parents are side-stepping ducks and bunnies and, instead, incorporating their own styles, interests and personalities into their babies' rooms.

Whoa!!! I spent under $100 to decorate my girls' nurseries (thanks to consignment and thrift and yard sales and even the dollar store). And their rooms did not look tacky. They look magazine worthy, in my opinion!
