The Well-Equipped Baby

Whether it's a Boppy, Baby Bjorn or sanity-saving DVD, there are some things a baby just has to have, right? Check out this article about a mother's baby budget-gone-haywire and see if you can relate. I know we can.

Editor's note: For what it's worth, the Baby Bjorn (pictured) was a tremendous waste of money for us. We heard all kinds of great things and our son wanted nothing to do with it.

Yeah, it depends on the baby. I used the bjorn a good bit... for over a year actually. Libby did fine in it. With baby boy we're gonna try out a sling so that I can discreetly breastfeed on the go. We'll see how that goes??? Plus, Libby couldn't use the bjorn for 5 wks b/c of the ht and wt requirements, so I want something I can use right away.

I had the sling too! It was nice for those times where my daughter needed to feel comforted and held and especially on the go.

Sorry that the Bjorn didn't work out. I absolutely LOVED mine! I got it off of ebay for 1/2 the price and Grace was in it a lot! She loved it and so did I. I guess it is like everything else in this crazy world of parenthood--each baby is sooo different! :)
